Peter Dongmin Sohn is a neuroscientist-turned-multidisciplinary artist working across ceramics, textiles, and photography. After over a decade of frustration within the structures of academic science, he left the laboratory to forge his own path as an artist outside institutional frameworks. His work explores the tension between objective methodologies and subjective truths. He believes that all learning should be self-directed and that one should not be directed by cutting-edge technologies.
